As previously posted, our AGM on Wednesday 14 May was to have been followed by a talk by Helen Harwood but unfortunately she is indisposed.  We are very grateful to Andrew Westwood-Bates for agreeing to give us a talk at very short notice on “The Pre World War One War Games around Cambridge and Linton”.  The preparations for war which took place in our area are very interesting so do come along.

The AGM is at 7.30pm in the Village Hall meeting room.  At about 8pm we have wine and nibbles and Andrew’s talk should start around 8.30pm.  Come along whenever you can.  There is a small charge of £3 for non-members but you can join the Society on the night for £6 per person or £15 per family.
