Some members may remember our 2012 visit to the 2 cottages which were formerly part of the Old Sun Inn which Douglas was repairing and converting back to one house. The cottages date back to the 14th century and had escaped modernisation – one only had gas lighting. Douglas has been unpicking their history and using traditional methods of repair and materials. He will give us an illustrated talk showing what he’s done to date.

7.30 for 8pm in the Gordon Woolhouse Room in the Village Hall. Free for members,£3 for non members and there will be a modest charge for wine.
