Cinema is coming back to Ickleton with Florence Foster Jenkins. This is based on the true and touching story of a New York heiress, played by Meryl Streep, who dreams of becoming an opera singer while being blissfully unaware that she is tone deaf. Laughs come thick and fast as she fulfils her dream of singing at Carnegie Hall thus becoming the worst opera singer of all time. The film also stars Hugh Grant, Rebecca Ferguson and Simon Helberg. A real treat to cheer the dark January days.

Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for under 18sand are available online at www.saffronscreen.com, from the cinema box office, at Saffron Walden Tourist Information Office and from Ickleton village shop.

Doors will open at 7.30 for 8pm and refreshments will be on sale before the film.
